That’s how the speaker knows what number to dial when you say, “Hey Google, call mom.” To do this, you need to give your speaker access to an option called personal results. Here’s what you need to know to make calls using Google Home or any other smart speaker device from Google. Your outbound call will default to an unlisted number if you don’t have a Project Fi or Google Voice number or choose not to display it. Next, tap the ellipses button again, then choose "Activity Controls" on the popup menu. At this point, you'll see a menu that shows the primary account data that Google Assistant can access. Anyone with access to your displays can view and call your household contacts. They can also see contact details such as phone numbers.
